Criteria for Categories

Gold: |
7-day playing rights subject to tee-time availability. Access to respective men’s / ladies competitions and mixed competitions (except where excluded by age). Joining fee applicable – may be waived at the discretion of Council. Age related discounts available on annual subscription. Bar levy is applicable to this category if operational at the time of joining. |

Silver: |
7-day playing rights subject to tee-time availability. For Silver Men; Access to men’s and mixed competitions (except Saturday/alternate day comps and where excluded by age). For Silver Ladies; Access to all ladies’ and mixed competitions (except where excluded by age). Joining fee applicable – may be waived at the discretion of Council. Age related discounts available on annual subscription. Bar levy is applicable to this category if operational at the time of joining. |

Twilight: |
Enjoy unlimited golf from 3pm every day during BST and from 2pm in winter allowing play for 9 holes (1.30pm December & January). Tee times must be booked in advance with pro shop or online. Unlimited use of practice facilities. Entry to Friday Kendy competitions & any other Friday mixed competitions. There is also a K/O competition for Twilight members and a summer Best of Series. Ability to sign in guests at member guest rate. Access to lots of social events and activity all year round. Bar levy is applicable to this category if operational at the time of joining. |

| Country: | Country membership is open to anybody who lives more than 50 miles from Ringway Golf Club. Country members can play the course up to 10 times per year, thereafter, no limit upon payment of a reduced Green Fee applicable to a Members' Guest. A Country member cannot introduce a visitor without payment of a full Green Fee. Country members are not eligible to vote at any General Meeting. A Country member cannot play in competitions or roll ups except as visitors on Invitation Days, provided that they are full members of another Club. Bar levy is not applicable to this category if operational at the time of joining. Country membership is only available to existing members. |

Young Adult:
|
Young Adults are members aged 19 to 30 yrs. They are entitled to full playing rights. Bar levy is applicable to this category if operational at the time of joining. No joining fee applies to this category. |
| Non-Competitor: |
Members in this category cannot enter any Club organised competitions. Bar levy is applicable to this category if operational at the time of joining. |

Academy: |
This Category is only available to somebody completely new to golf who is not a member of another Club. It includes access and use of the Ringway Practice facilities - including catering, bar and changing facilities, Academy competitions and attendance at Social events. No joining fee applies to this category. |
| Associate: | This category is open to anyone who has received golf tuition from a Ringway Golf Professional as a person completely new to golf - either single, group or a series of lessons/courses and be deemed ready to play on the main course without supervision. You are entitled to play the Ringway Golf Course at the special guest rate. If you have a handicap, you would not be eligible to join this category. Once a handicap has been obtained, you are allowed entry to certain competitions. It is a 12 month membership only to help you to progress through to a full playing category. A joining fee would be applicable when upgrading. |
| Clubhouse Membership: | This category is available to anyone over 18. Social membership offers the opportunity to become part of the 'Ringway Family' enjoying our facilities and all Club Social events, Indoor Bowls, use of Snooker Room, Bridge events, Sunday Lunches and a great place to enjoy good food and discounted bar prices with family and friends. Sky TV and BT Sport available throughout the year. A bar levy is also applicable if operational at the time of joining. No joining fee applies to this category. |
