At Ringway, our practice facilities are among the very best in Cheshire and form a standout benefit of membership. Designed to support golfers of all abilities, they provide the perfect environment to practise with purpose, build confidence, and see real improvement.

Members, their guests, and visiting societies can enjoy an outstanding range of facilities, including:

• Six covered bays and six outdoor bays at our Ash Lane practice facility, just minutes from the main clubhouse
• A state-of-the-art teaching studio, ideal for lessons and game development
• A convenient ball dispense system linked directly to member accounts
• A bespoke short game area, complete with practice bunker, located just yards from the 1st tee and clubhouse
• Two large putting greens that closely replicate the speed and feel of our course greens
• Two net bays adjacent to the clubhouse—perfect for a quick, effective pre-round warm-up

Ash Lane Practice Facility

Range balls are dispensed from our range building using members private log in which link directly to member accounts.  Member guests and visiting societies can purchase tokens from the professional shop or club office. There's a coffee machine serving hot chocolate and soup together with toilet facilities. Balls are collected by the club's staff meaning that members can devote their time to practice rather than collecting balls and robots operate 24/7 cutting the grass to further minimise disruption.

There are a variety of distance targets and artificial greens enabling you to practice a variety of shots to improve your game.

Short Game Practice Area

More than half the shots in any round are played from within 50 yards—yet very few clubs offer the opportunity to practise these vital shots in true on-course conditions. At Ringway, we’ve changed that.

Our exceptional short game area has been purpose-built to help you sharpen one of the most important parts of your game. Whether you’re looking to save shots around the green or build real confidence under pressure, this facility gives you the perfect environment to do just that.

Extensive and thoughtfully designed, the area recreates a wide variety of realistic playing conditions. You’ll find every type of lie—both forgiving and challenging—just as you would out on the course.

From delicate chip-and-runs off tight, downhill lies to more demanding shots from awkward hollows onto sloping greens, this is where you can truly develop the touch, creativity, and control that make all the difference.
