- Hole 2 (Long)
On this difficult par five, players are encouraged to drive left from the tee to avoid the right-hand fairway bunker and to take advantage of the space on this side of the fairway at the gap in the tree line.
The second shot needs to avoid the cross-bunker which, at around 150 yards from the green, makes it more difficult to reach the green in three shots. Longer hitters definitely need to be wary with their second shot, as the green is well-guarded with bunkers left and right.
Players should check the pin placement before playing their approach shot as one of the features of this hole is the very long, 'reverse MacKenzie ' green which offers a real challenge in respect of both chipping and putting.
