Hole 1 (Two Trees)
This shortish par four is a slight dog-leg left to a well-protected green with two large wing bunkers and some subtle run-offs.
The first hole is called 'Two Trees' but unfortunately, the iconic 'Ringway Trees' are no longer with us due to a bad storm. However, it is still a chellenging par four hole with a fairway bunker on the left which encourages many golfers to hit their tee shot to the right but take care to avoid another bunker down that side. The more direct line for big hitters over the trees and the bunker is becoming less rewarding as the copse beyond matures.
