Hole 7 (Gardener)
A classic hole, dog-legged to the right and rising to what is effectively a sky-line green.
This hole, which is one of the most demanding on the golf course, is a par four for the men and a par five for the ladies. Keeping your drive on the fairway is essential if you are to reach the green in regulation and care must therefore be taken to avoid the left-hand drive bunker. The approach to the green is extremely well-defended by deep bunkering and a hollow to the left. Anything other than a straight approach is likely to leave a difficult recovery shot to a green that has a subtle ridge at about mid point and a slight slope to the left.
